Why are all your fleeces measured in whole lbs or .5?
My scale that I use to measure my wool on only measures by whole or half ounces. I usually round down at pricing time, tho. :)
What Is Your Pricing Scale Based On?
Our pricing varies depending on what the current market for fine hand spinning wool is. I look up averages of what people are charging for the same product and quality and try to be under that. I price a little low, not because I believe our product to be inferior but 1. We are new and I would like to build a good customer base. 2. With all the inflation in the economy lately, I want to give my fellow fiber artists a little bit of a break. Wool is expensive!
